ResearchMind is a local-first desktop application. PDFs, notes, chat history, SQLite databases, and vector indexes stay on your device by default. Creating an account does not sync your library to the cloud. Read more about Local AI Features.
ResearchMind does not sell your research data. Crash reporting or telemetry are only enabled with clear notice and explicit consent. You can delete local data from Settings or uninstall the app using support guidelines.
Privacy inquiries: support@researchmind.app.
ResearchMind assists research but does not replace reading primary sources, academic peer review, or professional advice. AI-generated results may be incorrect, incomplete, or produce inaccurate citations; users are responsible for verification before publication.
ResearchMind is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. The developers are not liable for any damages arising from the use of this software, including but not limited to incorrect research conclusions, data loss, or service interruptions.
Customers may request a refund within 14 days of the first purchase if the product does not work on the published system requirements and support cannot resolve the issue.
Send an email to support@researchmind.app with your order ID, purchase email, app version, and error description. If approved, the associated license will be revoked and the refund processed within 7–10 business days.

Support includes setup, activation, import/index issues, and reproducible functionality bugs. We do not provide consulting on research methodology or statistical analysis.
When reporting issues, do not send papers or API keys unless requested through a secure channel. Include your app version, operating system, reproduction steps, and logs verified to contain no sensitive data.
